I agree this one would be great, think ATL would go with Barrett leaving morant to fall in our laps. To that point would you want the knicks #1 and Knox for AD or Boston’s package to pair Tatum with morant and jrue?

I think Atlanta would attempt to trade back and get a Kings ransom for Ja.

If we jump into the top 3, I would be super tempted to go for a more veteran laden package. Not 30 year olds. But Siakam becomes much more appealing. Clippers package becomes more appealing. Or at the very least, looking even harder at taking Boston assets and flipping them for a proven 23-26 year old that can ball now. Like, ship it all minus Tatum, for Beal and walk out with a Beal-Jrue-RJ-Tatum core.

That would be the smart thing for them to do but with a player like Barrett on the board it would be tempting for them to pass, they’ve been wanting to trade Kent bazemore for 2 seasons and if you can get his replacement with a better upside on a rookie deal they would have to take that into consideration as well.

Yeah. Or the lotto could go

1. Mavs
2. Cavs
3. Grizz
4. Suns

and then everything sucks and I will want to watch it all burn

Honestly, this is exactly what I'm expecting. Some combo of this.

Something shitty like that could easily happen with the new probability rules in play for the first time.

I think at least one team is gonna jump ahead, I just hope it's us

That could be a really entertaining team to watch.

I simmed ten times and once we got the 1 and every other time 7th or 8th. 8th more than 7th though.

That would be a fun core. Still missing that GUY though i think. Beal, Jrue, and Tatum are all the second and or third best guys on a championship team. Maaayybeee barret could become the GUY but idk. But wed be competitive and have high many high end assets.

Deep down I’d rather the #2 pick instead of the 1. I’m not big on Zions potential NBA dominance.

Visualize morant holding pels jersey.
