If there was a game they had to win to show some life, this was the one.

I'm torn about this overall season.
On one hand, we enjoyed a thrilling run at the top of the West that we hadn't experienced from poor-to-mediocre rosters in over a decade. So much fun. On the other hand, the ridiculous injuries and the mounting dumb losses we were favored to win puts us in jeopardy to not even make the play-in. So frustrating.
It feels like a relationship, where it is better to have loved & lost, then never to have loved at all. I'm glad I got a glimpse of this team's potential, but the disappointment is cutting deeper and deeper with every loss.

The one thing Monty was very good at that Willie hasn't really shown is Monty's ability to motivate and get his players to play hard and with pride when they lose games or get embarrassed.
Feels like this team go into every game with the same mentality regardless of how embarrassed they get.

I can’t even pretend like I know what happened to this team. we were supposed to be the deepest team in the league in 2022. We were 5-1 without both Zion or BI in the lineup, #1 in the West then all of a sudden the calendar turned and we forgot how to play. Just keep regressing as the season goes and now we’ve lost like 16 of our last 20 games. Reminds me of the LSU basketball season. Lots of false hope to start and can’t even stand to watch now

Only thing I keep reminding myself is stars wins games. Not having Zion and BI at different times and not 100% caught up to us.

Good teams have a solid supporting cast that can tread water if your star gets hurt.. ex. Memphis
This season has proven that our opinions on Herb, Jose, Naji, and even Trey are WAY too high
