So what we all said we'd be ok with before the season started isn't good enough any more?

If you're ok with a second round exit, then what's the point?

All I care about is how we do in the playoffs and this team has the floor of a play-in team and the ceiling of a 2nd round exit.

First round against Sacramento
Second round against Minnesota

We busting through that ceiling . . . maybe.

Ok doesn't mean content. Majority of this board said for this roster to earn another year they need to make it out of the first round

I think it's less so that a 2nd round exit is bad and more so a realization that our best 2 players simply aren't good enough and it's a tough sell to think that'll change.

Again, the Lakers have the 2nd best player of all-time.

Not a comparable scenario.

Also, hoping for injuries is such a lost cause.

You cant keeo bringing up lakers as comparison- they literally have one of the best players of our generation; that completely changes things.

Literally 2-2 against the mavs and 1-1 against the Wolves.

We went 1-1 against Mavs without Luka. And honestly in a series, those teams all have the better superstars. Its not even close.

I think we’re 1-2 v wolves by the way

So the Lakers weren't a deeply flawed team because Lebron?

Ja getting hurt didn't matter?

They were incredibly flawed, but having Lebron covered a lot of that up once the playoffs began and the rotations tightened.

We don't have that luxury.

And Lukas teams routinely underperform in the playoffs.

I mean they have Lebron. It just changes everything. Almost hard to compare other teams to the lakers because of Lebron.

He went to west conf finals.

You’re right about wolves but we won one of them without Ant playing.
