damn i didnt know that. cmon man...obviously its a lottery. but explain to me why if you were given 2 options, 14% or 12.5%, at winning the lottery, you would intentionally take the lower chance?

Not sure what you mean since Charlotte has 17 wins and has been tanking pretty good since the last two games. We went into today the 4th worst record and we left the same.
we were within a half game of charlotte. we still have charlotte on the schedule. all we had to do was lose our last 13 games and we would have guaranteed ourselves a 14% chance at flagg

I got tickets to see my **** on Sunday when they come to Detroit, please don't jinx me bro smh, especially after the hard foul and temporary limp that happened today.
Id be mad as hell if he sits out Sunday.

Ohhh... you just really think we were going to lose every game from here on out. Gotcha.

Well he does plays more minutes when they want to win and less when we lose.

The Pels have a bit of a cushion between 4 and 5. Will they need to shut down Zion at some point to protect their lottery odds? Maybe, but I want him playing as long as possible so he stays in shape going into the offseason.

They're going to milk every win possible to finish the year without finished ahead of 4th worst. But I think this was a pride game based on how bad they were against Detroit.

yes, going into tonight we were almost certainly going to finish either 3 or 4. and even still, i'm not too concerned about us falling out of #4. but getting to top 3 (the only goal we should have had at this point of the season), is going to be really difficult after winning tonight. zion didn't need and still doesn't need to be shut down. you just shouldn't be playing the guy 30+ minutes. let him get 20-25 min of run and just make sure you're getting Ls, because securing that 14% was far more important than how in shape zion is 7 months from the start of next season. it's not the end of the world that we likely have now dropped our chances from 14% to 12.5%, but it was easily avoidable and somewhat mind-boggling

That’s why Willie Green is a shitty coach. You would think he would learn by now with all the injuries we have

For weeks it's certain that we can't have worse record than Wizards, Jazz and Hornets. They win only when they have some cushion to the 4th spot. We also win here and there, but always with enough cushion to the 5th spot.
There is not a single NBA player who will lose on purpose. Just look at Raptors few weeks ago when they benched the starters in the 4th quarter and the G-league players won at the buzzer.
Therefore just enjoy the games where we play well, because as a lot of people said it already, this creates habits for the future. And permanent losing also creates habits...
And this game was not won because Z played 30min, but because other guys played well too.
So stop complaining and dramatizing after each win. Lottery is a lottery for a reason.

Not so sure about the Hornets...they are gonna beat the Knicks tonight...so if we didn't have that HUGE win last night...we would actually be in 3rd place for the lottery...with Hornets in 4th worse.

Somehow they won exactly after our win, same thing happen after our win vs Clippers. If we hadn't won yesterday most probably LaMelo wouldn't have played today. In 10 days we will see who is more willing to lose anyway.

A valid point...and I hope our game with Hornets turns out to be a "big one"...to see who can out-tank the other. Should be a fun one to watch...if we both need to lose...I just wish it was the last game of the year...to be REALLY fun.

It's the 4th quarter and l look at the box score and see Reeves logging in only 3 minutes. WTF is that? You're down 30 points and Elfrid is getting more minutes than him and he just got signed today.
