The Pels need to go 10-2 over the rest of the year.

And of course it will be without Zion. This was such an infuriating loss but one that we who you is easily beat if we had Zion but it’s clear we will get him for 20 games a year. Really pissed. This team fought their arse off tonight and Zion just chilling on the bench collecting his check.

I’d truly rather go 0-12 and have a top 6 pick and better odds at a top 4.

I get wanting to get a high draft pick but i think the damage that tanking will do to the team would be worse than going 6-6 and missing the playoffs with a mid 1st pick. This team has so much fricking potential but they can never get on the court together at the same time and I don’t think we will ever see it.

Going 6-6? We are 10-24 over our last 36 games. The truth is we’ve unintentionally tanked. The least the can do is the land the ship in the top 6.
Although from what I can tell, there are 3 people in this draft and then a grab bag of question marks after that.

I'm glad ingram is back.
i thought it was in the bag.
i thought memphis goose was cooked but they held opponent to 16 or 17 4th quarter and behind La techs own K Lofton Jr's 11 and 7 in 14 minutes off the deep bench rallied to tie and won in OT.
glad I'm not one of those in game bettors. id be in debtors prison.

Oh, you think we’d have to intentionally tank?
My man we just lost to one of the worst teams in the league, we play Houston one more time, then SA/Charlotte. Then the rest of the season is almost nothing but playoff teams. A chunk of them on the road and some B2B’s.

I see 4 wins left on the schedule. And we just proved yesterday that we can easily lose those games too.
Pelicans can frick around and probably get 10th in the draft. But they honestly have shown this year ain’t it. Shut everyone down, send a message, work on the young guys and seeing if anyone is worth keeping around before the firesale, and we can probably get 6th. Cross our fingers AD goes down and we might just have two shots in the lottery.

Absolutely a bottom 3 NBA team right now. One of the worst teams in the league for 2023.

We are likely making the playin. So I know McCollum doesn't want to go get surgery, then miss a playoff type game. I get him trying to tough it off. Who else should be shut down?
