Yeah, you 100% think the NBA is rigged but keep watching it. But I'm the dumb arse.

Hilarious you think we lost that game because of the refs. You know the NBA!

No one thought we had a chance in this series but when we lose it's because of the refs. Nothing like logic and rationality.

This was not said after games 2 and 3. Everyone pointed out the team's flaws and reasons they lost for those, so when all of a sudden the whole board complains about officiating then there must have been a very noticeable difference.

You keep saying that and it's total nonsense. People bitched on this board the whole game about how Kobe gets every call, can't be breathed on, etc. So much so that I made a post about how amazed I was that allegations of refereeing conspiracy still exist outside of upset middle schoolers. I am relatively new to these boards and couldn't believe that presumably grown people were saying the refs were on the take in games 2 and 3.

Winning 1 game at home and then 1 on the road isn't some impossible feat. The Hornets still have a chance. I'll admit they got no help from the bigs tonight and it hurt a lot, but the officiating was clearly pro-Laker from the start.

Well Kobe does get plenty of calls. It's something fans of every team will complain about because he is who he is and will get close calls to go his way 90% of the time. The calls were more obviously 1 sided this time around, though.

Not impossible but we have not won two games in a row against this team. I'd put ALL my money on the Lakers right now and fall asleep with I smile on my face wondering how I'm gonna get all that cash to the bank.

I'm shocked nobody brought up the first five minutes of the game. Bynum should have gotten a flagarant foul with his elbow into Marco B's mouth. I wished Marco B would have said frick it at that point and thrown a punch into his nose and broken it. All is fair right? Marco could act like he was throwing up his arms in a blocking motion and "accidentally" punched Bynum in the nose. That's about how his elbow shot was.

All the touch fouls is what kills my interest for basketball on any level. Every now and then you get a ref crew that lets them play, and those are the good games. But all this bullshite of calling fouls on one side of the court, and calling the same exact play an offensive foul on the other side is what pussifies the game imo.

I didn't even see much of the game last night. (fell asleep right before tip off and woke to watch just a little of the 2nd Q).

So I have no opinion on the refs in that game. But I have seen games in the past between two teams that I have no allegiences to where it definitely appears to me that the officiating was skewed to one team.

I'm no Hornetard but I don't think it takes a conspiracy theorist to suspect something's up with the NBA.

Have you ever heard of the San Antonio Spurs?

The spurs had players from
3 different continents on that squad, when all our sports were trying to push the "international game".

And we cant be sure if they were rigging things back then, was the league losing $500 million per season back then. The past few years their finances have been TERRIBLE, they need big $$$ teams n the finals. lakers/heat would generate the most $$$

My biggest gripe about the NBA is how they never call a carry. They will call it when they are looking for a penalty but if they watch every guard or forward in the leauge especially kobe and cp3 they carry all the time. Back in the day if your hand was under or on the side of the ball that was a carry.

Thats why los angelos/chicago/new york/boston have each been to more finals than all the small market teams combined the last 20 years

I think it's probably because good players want to be in big markets....good players then sign with big markets...big market teams with good players do well in playoffs.

That being said F$#@$ the lakers

only a Hornetard would blame this loss on the refs.

we had no answer for Kobe or Bynum, and Gasol decided to play tonight.

they probably could have won 3 on 5

Not time to pout, it's basketball and we are just not as big as them. If we want to hang make a trade for a big man and not Okafor who sux. The loss had nothing to do with the refs.Kobe jammin down our throat and Artest 15 footers had more to do with it. You are right LE

Can you blame them. Thats why you play for a ring...hence LeBron leaving. It won't be long and Paul will be in NY if we don't give him something. I know Landry and Ariza are decent but it takes more than that.

Not at all. I would probably do the same if i were in that position...as a Grizzlies fan, i'm glad we've locked up a majority of our starters for the next 3-4 years.
