And I will point out again, we also know none of us have the requisite expertise or access to medical records to determine what sort of recovery schedule and return to activity qualifies as aggressive, conservative, or industry standard. So any claim that it is one or the other is entirely uninformed and speculative.
Completely agree with this. I’m not sure why the self appointed Dr., Pistol, thinks he knows more than the actual doctors clearing the players to play.

This is essentially what it comes down to with all 3 posters, thinking they, armed only with baseless speculation and selectively interpreted Google "research" and knowingly vague and misleading team injury reports, have more authority to make medical determinations on short and long term risk/reward, and fitness to play, than arguably the most proven team doctor of the last 20 years, the coaching staff, and the players themselves.
I'd say it shocks me, but in a world where people see Facebook posts and a news segment and think they are suddenly topic experts and have conditioned to reject any information that doesn't confirm their preferred biases, it sort of doesn't.

I'm done with this thread. But I'll be sure to remind you of your thoughts the next time you disagree with Griff that you are just using baseless speculation and selectively interpreted google "research" to act like you know more than a GM who has been the architect of a world champion basketball team who has been in personnel departments for 15 years in the National Basketball Association.

There's a world where you say Griff should draft player A because he'll be better than Player B, and you can be right and you can say "I told you so" if Griff drafts Player B.
There is no world where you know what's better for a player's injury/health status more so than the Pelicans trainers and medical staff.

I think it should be pretty easy to immediately recognize that questioning a draft pick or coaching hire is a lot different than second guessing a medical diagnosis or recovery schedule when we literally have no medical records, let alone any diagnostic or medical expertise to base our conclusions on.
