Article evaluating his first season. It’s a good article. There’s a good bit of reasonable evaluation bordering on the negative but it’s really fair.

quote:

Yes, he won a NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he did that with a fully-formed LeBron James. He has some questionable decisions in his past with Cleveland, from his championing of Anthony Bennett as the number one pick in 2013, to trading Dwight Powell for Keith Bogans, signing a well past their prime Kendrick Perkins and Deron Williams, and his questionable extensions for players like JR Smith, Mo Williams, and Tristan Thompson.

This is the first time in his career he’s been asked to build a franchise from essentially the ground up, and he has to be evaluated just as the players and coaches are each season.

Any true fan knew last year we were fighting for the playoffs. Favors may not have been the best pick up and Zion getting hurt sucked. This year should tell a lot more about our future. For some reason I feel like BI and Zion are going to take pretty big steps. If NAW or Hayes go through any major improvement we could be sitting pretty.

Also think bringing in Langdon helps take pressure off of Griffin and some of those past decisions.

Not going to blame David Griffin for giving in on those deals when he had to deal with this shite

quote:

LeBron takes a stance on Tristan Thompson's impending free agency: "Tristan's a guy who should probably be a Cavalier his entire career"
quote:

"All I know is TT on Qualifying Offer will be his last year with the Cavs" -- Rich Paul on Tristan Thompson negotiations.
quote:

Lebron during training camp when Tristian Thompson was holding out “Get it done!!!! Straight up. #MissMyBrother”
quote:

LeBron James is pressing the Cleveland Cavaliers to re-sign free agent guard J.R. Smith.

“I hate coming into another season—two years in a row—with one of my big guns not here,” James told reporters on Friday, referencing last year’s lengthy contract negotiation with teammate Tristan Thompson. “So, for a leader of a team and for me personally, I just hate to deal with this s--- again. It’s just too big of a piece to our team to have to deal with in another training camp.”
