Below is a list of the realistic SF free agents that Dell may be able to sign with the vet. minimum. Who would you like to see Dell sign? Which players would you be most upset if Dell signed over the other remaining SF available?

-I'd like to see Garcia and Miller signed. I'd be pissed if we signed R. Jefferson over Garcia.

Mike Miller
Caron Butler
Al-Farouq Aminu
Richard Jefferson
Michael Beasley
Xavier Henry
Wesley Johnson
Jordan Hamilton
Rashard Lewis
Francisco Garcia
Chris Douglas-Roberts
Dante Cunningham
Darius Miller
Metta World Peace
James Jones
Andres Nocioni
Hidayet Turkoglu
Brandon Rush
Chris Singleton
Rasual Butler
Stephen Jackson
Josh Howard
Robbie Hummel
Adonis Thomas
James Southerland
Ryan Gomes

Pretty depressing list.

I'll add Joe Ingles, and hopefully, one of our Summer Leage team SFs shows something.

my initial thoughts coming into the offseason was PJ Tucker or a stop gap like R. Jefferson

we all have to come to the realization that a minimum level player is all we will get at SF until EG comes off the books...although at that point all the money going to EG will just be transferred over to AD's extension

Depends. If there is any space at that point, you could sign a SF, then go over to sign AD using Bird Rights.

I fully expect Aminu to be back on the team.

Why? I like Jefferson as a stop gap at SF. He's only a year older than Garcia, and shot the 3 at a better percentage (40.9% vs. 35.8%), on more attempts (301 vs. 193). I also think he brings a better veteran leadsership to them team. Maybe I'm crazy or missing something. but if comes down to Jefferson or Garcia, I'm taking Jefferson.

Of the guys on that list who can hit a 3, how much are we able to cover for their defensive lapses by having Asik at the 5?

I ask because Mike Miller is hitting 3s at the best clip of any 3 in the NBA, but he's pretty run down at this point.

I don't. He started getting benched more after the All-Star break last year, and he just doesn't fit at all on this team now.

At least not at the salary we were paying him.

Offensively, we need a 3 who can hit 3-pointers. Aminu's offense is atrocious to the point where teams ignore him and double-team Holiday, Anderson, etc., instead.

He can rebound like a motherfricker, though, and that could be useful as a bench piece at the vet minimum.

Yeah, rebounding was his best attritbute, but with Asik on the team he becomes pretty pointless. I'd resign him at the minimum, but I think another team will look at his age and athelticism and offer him more than that.
