To me BI is a scorer not a shooter. I fully expect BI to find a way to score more than 9 points if his shot isn’t falling.

All I’m saying is lets not use Zion being fat for us to cloud our judgement on BI having his own inconsistent game to game issues.

Zion was clogging up the spacing all night. BI couldn't get in the lane to score. NO ONE could get in the lane to score because of Zion just sitting in a corner.

You may have hit on how he can be useful. Take him out of the starting lineup, limit his minutes, and let him play against second team personnel. He does like to appear on YouTube dunking against no one guarding him.

I've actually been feeling like Zion's career may be limited to super-6th man at his current commitment level. You can't commit to building around a guy who won't commit to building up himself.

If thats the case- this whole team’s ceiling has been completely lowered. You lower Zion’s ceiling and we’re barely making play-in. If thats the case, no need for this team to be that expensive. Its crazy but Zion not reaching elite status- likely means we have recinstruct our whole team because we’re not even close to good enough. I will say this again, BI is a good player but he’s not superstar elite enough to build a contender around.

I completely disagree. Zion is not what made this team go on a winning streak. That was guys like Herb, Dyson and Jose busting their asses on defense, leading to improved offensive possessions.

We will not trade Zion for anything remotely close to his ceiling, but getting a guy that gives you a consistent effort and +/- and this team could be dangerous.

Ok ill ask you a question if Zion is not playing at an elite level; against what teams just in the west do we have the best player out the teams we face? I would say not nuggets, lakers, clippers, warriors, wolves, grizz, thunder, mavs, kings, suns. Maybe you can argue rickets. If BI is your best guy- how far do you think you can go?? Zion when in shape and healthy would at least put us on par with those contending teams with elite talent.

So, our best finish in the last 5 years then?
