I really don't think too many people were doubting his intensity
Every single analyst/reporter/columnist in sports said he would be a top 5 pick if he showed intensity. Everyone said he lacked intensity

With Robinson, is there any fear with the lack of success of KU players in the league? Seems like they always have highly touted kids who end up being decent pros, but no superstars, a la Darrell Arthur.

Robinson has little upside, which probably means he wont see the top end of the lottery. He should be a solid pro, though. HIs stock is rising.

Arthur was the 27th pick. Robinson will be top 5. Kansas has put out more solid pros than flops. Pierce, hinrich, gooden, Chalmers, collison

Aldrich, Henry, Arthur are all still young. They are up in the air.

Robinson is on another level

Damn, for some reason I was thinking he was a late lotto guy.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to deride their pros. Just seemed like a lot of them never really reached All-Star potential (though still solid pros).

I don't know much about him. Haven't watched KU play this year, yet.. but I like what people are saying.

I think Robinson is quickly solidifying himself as a top 5 pick. Chad Ford currently has him at number 5.

The main concern on him is height. They list him at 6'9 and was measured at some camp this past offseason at 6'10 in shoes. I am still doubtful he's legitimately that tall.

You're thinking of X Henry I think. He could turn out to be good. Should make his Hornet debut next week

Robinson seems like a guy you draft for stability. Not much boom/bust potential; you should know what you're getting with him. If we had a top 5 and a 8-9 slot, I wouldn't mind Robinson with the later pick.

Yeah, even as a Baylor fan, I've been posting this season that Robinson is just better than Jones right now. Robinson is a sure thing, IMO. I don't know that he'll be a star, but I think he'll be a very good player and you'll get good effort from him every night.

Jones is still inconsistent. I've watched every single Baylor game that has been televised or been made available online and Jones continues to just show flashes of being great, and then disappearing. He shies away from contact in the post. There's not a consistent energy level from him. He's TOO unselfish. There's no doubt that if he can figure everything out and reach his ceiling, he can be a franchise player though. Consistency, consistency, consistency. Other than a back to the basket game, no area of his skill set is lacking. The questions are mental with him.

Honestly, I'd probably pick Quincy Miller over Jones right now. He's also got a high ceiling and he's more of a sure thing. He has a position at the three. He's done what's been asked of him every night and he's showed up for big games. He takes it to the hole consistently and draws a good amount of fouls. He scores at ease. He also has a great head on his shoulders. He has overcome a little adversity already early in career with his bad knee injury that cost him his senior year, and watching him, I still don't think he's quite 100% physically yet. He just comes across as a guy that's always hungry to get better and genuinely enjoys every minute of playing ball. He just needs to add a lot of muscle.

Probably. I liked that trade for the Bees.

I remember Henry in HS and at KU.

I have watched davis play at least 5 or 6 times this year on tv and he never is very impressive to me.

davis is pretty much already a sure thing great shot blocker...he can rebound and has range on his shot...incredible prospect. i would love if the hornets could get him. add some weight, and in a few years he could be lamarcus aldridge good easy, maybe better-and he will rebound and block better

One of Davis, Drummond, or Barnes would make me ecstatic. Perry Jones is maybe the most athletic player in the NCAA but he is soooo inconsistent.

What does Barnes do that would make you ecstatic? No way he's an elite draft prospect.

Aldridge can shoot very well not sure Davis will ever do that.

I believe Chad Ford said at worst you're getting a Danny Granger type player. So, getting a 17-20 ppg scorer is pretty enticing.

He can shoot, something no one on our team currently does well.
