Always use the backboard against a closing shotblocker. They are going to have to learn that and execute it for the next 10-15 years.

Does he impact overall team defense, communicate and get everyone on the team playing defense like Herb does? I think to me thats what makes Herb different. Dyson can win his matches but sometimes his impact isn’t the same as Herb’s. Like tonight he getting deflections and winning his matchup but its Jose coming in and the game changes. Maybe its his lack of offense- I don’t know.

Sochan's foul trouble has really changed the game for the Pelicans. The Spurs don't match the same type of energy when he's off the floor.

To be fair his defense this game has been great but I don’t know why but his defense team wise feels different than Herbs.
