Tyreke was -24 in 16 minutes and hurt our best player

Time for Jrue to start

Yeah, Tyreke needs to be that 6th man that he was signed to be.

It's a good moment for these guys to learn from. We will get better. We know we can compete

This team is well beyond needing learning moments

I'm ready to trade Tyreke if we can get anything for him. Semi-rebuild around Jrue and AD

AG rightfully benched him tonight

Barely beat us with out AD.. Great game by our bench.
And they were playing the second half of a back to back on the road and didn't have Dwight Howard.

Put this game into perspective. Houston hit what, 20 threes? AD didn't play the second half and we shot 56% at the line and lost by 1.

If we hadn't have been so shitty to start the year, we'd be feeling good after this loss. Everything is magnified now though because of the turd we laid.

that was. 4 second difference between shot clock and the end of the game. if he makes a 2, youre down by 3 with 3 seconds left. he makes a 3, game over. he misses, you have 3 seconds from rebound to your own shot to win.

Yeah that was a bad decision. I get not wanting Harden at th line but you have to at least try to extend the game

Which is such an awful position to be in. If we do get into the playoffs we are going to get swept by the Warriors but at this point are playing good enough to not get a good draft pick. We are in NBA limbo

If we're gonna blame players for bad discipline then there is plenty of that to go around for everyone not named Jrue

The blame is SOLELY on the starting guards.

Starting Guards combined 50.5 minutes
6/17 FG, 3/7 3PT, 0/5 FT
6 Rebounds, 6 Assists, 3 Turnovers, 15 Points
-33 combined

Your two bench guards combined 61.5 minutes
19/29 FG, 5/9 3PT, 7/9 FT
9 Rebounds, 15 Assists, 4 Turnovers, 4 Steals, 1 Block, 50 Points
+38 combined

I don't get why you don't foul Ariza early on though. He was hot all night, but he's a worse FT shooter than Harden. I would rather 10 seconds to try and set up a game tying 3 than what would probably be 2 seconds for a game tying 3 or the 4 seconds for a whack heave to win.

At least we have some cap flexibility and two very good players to build around. I'd rather make the playoffs again.

Pels could go .500 the rest of the way and still be comfortably in the top 8-10

True, but I still want to get rid of Tyreke. He just drives me crazy on nights like tonight.

In a couple of weeks he'll have a good stretch of games and I'll love him again but I'm getting tired of his inconsistency

Pelis bench scored 79 points. That's something to be proud of

Yeah, I'm real love/hate with Reke. I think he's a good player but I don't know if he's a center piece of a consistent playoff team. He's a bad fit for Gentry as well.

I was annoyed by the amount of ISO at the end of the game. I know Jrue was hot but I would have liked to see them move the ball. We've been winning games because of our high assist rate, hate to see the ball stop at the end.

Tough loss. Too much bitching up in here, though
