and give Willie another full year (hope no injuries happen ever)- then make a decision on Willie in 2026. Wow what a genius idea!!!
Exactly! Forget Zion Ingram CJ Herb Trey and Murray missing a shite ton of games already this year! The second Yves sprains his ankle next year with everyone healthy willie has got to go! It's the exact same thing.

Not if they just fire Willie this year! See thats the solution. Then you don’t have to post sarcastic game threads complaining about why people want Willie fired. We all win if they fire Willie!!!!

EXACTLY! I'm sure we'll hire a better coach and the roster will magically stay healthier. it's bound to happen!

We’ve lost 4 of our last 7 by 26+. Any coach could do better than that even with the roster that played the last 7 games.

I am the biggest McCollum fan on this board. He sucked tonight. So did Murray and Murphy. Defense was horrible and they shot horribly. That is 3 good players that had awful game. That just can't happen on any given night, but it did. Yet no one is saying shite about how bad they were. Its all about the coach.
I will keep saying this, if the coach had this much influence in the outcome of the game. Why are we only paying our coach a couple of million dollars? There is no cap on coaching salary. We could spend whatever we want. If he has more impact than any player, shouldn't he get paid like one?

Probably because Gayle pays a boatload on Griffin salary and he fired 2 other coaches that Gayle is still paying for. So we’re paying Willie peanuts for coaches salary and now we’re getting this garbage.

Are coaches not responsible for players’ performances? Are they not judged on wins and losses? If players are not responding to coaches is that not a problem for the coach? If a coach cannot get his players to play better is that not on coaching?

Not nearly as much as the players themselves.

Maybe, just maybe, all these bad players we're asking to play big minutes for realize they fricking suck and can't get out of their own head now that they've been at it for a few weeks.
And they should fricking respond because they've been fricking losing. That's a player problem. The fricking players suck on this fricking team. You do not have your best defensive player. You do not have your two best players. Waaaaaay below all of that is the "oh you know Willie could improve on a couple of things" aspect of it.

See my answers above. How much more juice are you getting out of guys that don't belong in the league getting more than 10 minutes of garbage time at best?

You can’t just fire the players and keep the coach.

This is your response in regards to judging a coach on wins/losses this year even though previously you talk about Willie getting 49 wins last year. Cant use the 49 wins argument and ignore the wins/losses this year with your chicken shite answer.

The past 3 games- 2 of them we have lost by 30 or more points we have played Dejounte, Trey and CJ. They have played bad. Its all their fault? Not guy hired to lead them? Should we just cut all the players??

You keep using injuries- we’re getting players back and still getting blown out by 30 plus. There is a significant coaching problem that you’ll acknowledge one day- I hope.

You keep saying this and it's a lie. We aren't getting players back. We're trading out. Ingram went out the second Murray came back. Hawk is in and out of the lineup still. Trey even missed another game and wasn't playing b2bs.

You're clueless as to what an nba coach is capable of doing with a roster.

Willie has to go after he completes the tank, but considering that Byron fricking Scott coached the best team in franchise history (and it's not remotely close), coaches are largely there for vibes and ATO's.
Thinking Willie leaving fixes everything is just nonsense.

Even Broski agrees with me and he is the first one to dv my game threads!

So I want to be clear on this according to you it’s permissible for Willie to be 4-17 because of the injuries and he should be brought back next year? Is this what you’re saying?

Scout's honor, I've never down voted you (or anyone) on TD. Not because I don't think some of your schtick is nauseating, but just because the upvote/downvote thing is really dumb.

No one is saying he fixes the problem. This is just something wksf is assuming posters here are saying. I think he needs to go but there are several other problems which I have acknowledged.

Next year is irrelevant to the discussion of these current 21 games.
How many more games do you think we win than what we have with this "better coach" you keep talking about?
2, 3 at most?
