Pelicans only win NBA awards that have nothing to do with on court basketball play.

CJ just won the NBA Social Justice Award. Larry Nance is nominated for best teammate of the year as well.

This is all well and good but is Griffin more interested in collecting good human beings over players who can win on the basketball court? Its almost as winning is not as important as these other qualities for Griffin. And at some point Griffin needs to get guys who play great basketball and not just who do great stuff off the court.

The fact we don’t have an all-star, all-nba, all-rookie, MIP on this team speaks volumes. Herb will probably be the only one to get basketball recognition with all defensive team. Don’t get me wrong its great these guys are high character but as a fan I honestly only care if they’re winning games because that should be their main objective.
