Jazz on fire right now
I actually wish the Pels would keep playing, you finally have some momentum and now you get the break

They need the rest though with how many minutes Jrue and AD have been playing. And getting more practice with Niko will help this team even more.

Damn. We took care of business and only gained on Denver who can get that half game back tonight. fricking Golden State and Boston.
This is going to be a crazy finish in the West.

I don't know how true it is that AD looking terrible last week was because he was trying to be Cousins instead of himself, but if we get this week's AD the rest of the season the Pels should be in good shape.

I didn't notice him overly trying to be point AD or defer shots in favor of passing (other than open 3's) in those games, but I was not expressly watching for it. It is difficult to tell if he was doing anything differently or if UTA and PHI are just good defenses with great rim protecting bigs in Gobert and Embiid. He played well against OKC, so I tend to think a lot of the poor play had to do with Gobert and Embiid rather than him trying to do Boogie things, but whatever gives him confidence is fine with me.
If we get the AD of the last 3 games, we will make the playoffs comfortably and he will make his way into the MVP discussion.

I didn't get to watch the Utah game closely but I did watch Philly and AD just wanted no part of Embid. I also think fans are nuts for acting like that was a bad loss. Yeah AD played like shite but Philly has the #3 defense. They are able to regularly put 5 6'7 or taller guys on the floor at one time that are mobile and willing defenders. I haven't seen a team make the Hornicans that uncomfortable since the Durant/Ibaka era Thunder that used their length and agility to build a top 5 defense.

I rode the night of the Philly game and my DVR had a brainfart so I didnt get to watch it. Against UTA Gobert was very physical and refs were letting them play.
AD got a couple of easy buckets inside from Rondo in the first half, but other than those 2, he was not even really trying to get inside. AD fell back into taking tons of 12-14 ft shots, many of them turn arounds. He also had 5 TO's.
