One Fan’s Off-Season Dream

I’m not going to pretend like I know this is possible, because I don’t, but here is what I would like to see the Pels do this offseason.
Obviously I want to see them take Zion #1.
I want to send AD and Hill to Boston for Tatum, Brown, and picks (I could take or leave Smart and we would probably need Horford or Hayward for salary purposes).
That is all very basic - here is where we get wild.
I go hard to get Vucevic in FA. He is the preeminent stretch 5 in the league right now, but a mediocre showing in the playoffs may knock a few million off the price tag.
Then I get a sign and trade with Milwaukee for Brogdon sending them Brown (maybe a pick also if needed).
Starting 5:
Brogdon
Holliday
Tatum
Williamson
Vucevic
Is it possible? No clue. Could it win a title? I think it has as good a chance as any team not in Oakland.

That's a better starting five than I've seen most people post on here. You get down voted for posting a good starting five but ppl post dsj/jru/Knox/Zion/Robinson and get 50 upvotes..makes no sense to me bc your scenario puts a lot better team on the court then anything we get from the knicks

I like that better but I’m not sure the bucks would take Moore for Brogdon, which is why I suggested Brown. Though depending on how many firsts we get I would drop one for him.

Has Davis said he will resign with the Celtics?
Because if it is just Davis, Horford, and Heyward I can't see him resigning.
My point is I don't see Tatum and Brown being traded unless Davis is willing to immediately commit which will take Irving. I Dont think the Celtics can sign Irving, trade for Davis, and keep Horford and Heyward.

If the pels offer him a contract they can't afford to match since they have to pay Middleton this off-season also they will do a sign and trade for Moore over losing him without getting anything..start low and throw in a second round pick if you absolutely have to

I’m betting the Celtics try to use Davis as a chip to resign Kyrie. They’ll bring him in and then go to Kyrie with a max offer. Horford and Heyward don’t factor into the long term plan there.

That’s fair. I’m not knowledgeable on our salary situation if we trade AD to Boston. If we can sign Vucevic and Brogdon straight up, that’s the way to do it.

Worse thing the Celtics can do is let AD get to NY. I wish they could sign Horford to a long term deal and include him in the trade(not sure if that's possible with league rules). I would much rather have Tatum, Horford, smart(if he wasn't included I'd still take this) and Memphis pick and make them take hill with AD over Tatum, smart, brown plus picks multiple picks
