Once again, multiple players on the roster had significant injuries this season.

It's obvious that the strength and conditioning of this franchise is BY FAR the worse in NBA history and I don't think it's close. No other franchise has this happen EVERY SINGLE SEASON.
It's not a one off thing or a coincidental situation. It happens over and over and over again. BI and Zion has had a significant injury damn near 6 years straight. Right now Dejounte has a popped achilles and Trey has a popped shoulder. So even if Zion was healthy all season, y'all would be going into the playoffs once again with a injured arse roster.
Why doesn't the media speak on this issue? It's not a damn coincidence anymore. Zion gets hurt running up the court, DJ got hurt during a mild jog up the court, Trey got hit in his shoulder by a foot while on the ground, damn near just a bump on the shoulder, whole shoulder is gone now. DJ whole achilles is gone now. Zion whole hamstrings was gone in multiple seasons. Willie Greens dick is gone and nowhere to be found, soft arse man who is definitely not a Eastside Detroiter, that's a westside nga.
This should get A LOT more attention and at this point, as much as I'd love to see Zion take this team deep in the playoffs (which would have probably happened already without all the injuries)I don't want any stars on this team because you will spend half of your career on the sidelines or away from the team. I wouldn't be surprised if rookies refuse to get drafted by the Pels.
As fans, y'all should want more of the media talking about the injury situation with this franchise because they are doing something wrong. Wrong as frick. Abd it needs to fricking change or they need to just trade Zion this off season. Sorry but mannnnn, I want to see stars playing. That is nearly impossible with this franchise.
It needs to be addressed. Period.

Why are you here if you aren't a Pels fan?

How did you get to this question from what I posted?
I'm am a fan. I'm worried about players ALWAYS getting hurt, and it makes me wonder if being a Pelican is productive for an NBA career.

I made a post in January about Sean Payton's viewpoint on injuries within the Denver Broncos program. I thought it was really interesting:

I know people will hate the name but I found this clip really interesting. This was posted on Saints Talk, but he mentioned how the Broncos were 1st in the NFL last season in games (not) missed, and they're second this year. He goes onto say there is a lot that goes into player health and if you're near the top then you've earned that, but if you're near the bottom then you've earned that as well. Thought that was interesting and something that says a lot about the Pelicans and the Saints. It's not a coincidence or bad luck

This not being the biggest story of Louisiana sports right now is mind boggling.
How many injuries does it take before the media starts to call this shite out? If this shite was on the front page of sports media along with the awful numbers Louisiana teams face with injuries, the team would have to force a solution.
As coach Peyton said, they have earned being at the bottom and they should face termination because of that.

What’s up Detroit Warren.
You aren’t wrong about this injury problems. That’s why I think we need to rebuild this program one more time. Front office, meds, and roster. The current group is not working and will never work. If we do an overhaul rebuild again with an actual serious GM and franchise player and another medical group, we are probably cursed and the next move should be to move the team to Mandeville or some place that isn’t cursed by Indians. Sadly, Enriched Soy Plutonium Huffer, Silver will probably have us end up in Antifa land aka Seattle, before the NBA would allow us to relocate within Louisiana.

Then why do you always talk about the pelicans, pelicans fans, this board, etc in the third person?

Because I'm from Detroit, so saying "we" would be false claiming lol.

I also have a connection to New Orleans because I came down to help for Hurricane Katrina. Met a bunch of dudes I still rock with til this day. A bunch of the people I connected with down there ended up moving to Detroit, I still hang with those folks.
