This is before his debut in the arena right before he ran out the tunnel. He looks so happy and excited to be New Orleans' mascot. I know though. It's just a fricking costume.

New Pierre isn't bad. I like that he is brown like an actual pelican you could find in Louisiana.
He is a touch generic and doesn't give off that "sweet mary in heaven, what is that thing?!" vibe of OP (Original Pierre).
Will be interesting to see if the Pels go on a winning or losing streak now...Curse of Pierre!

So the human under the costume was Hugo, too. And he was Hugo when they were in Charlotte before the move to N.O.
He wants to go back to Charlotte and be Hugo again. Or so I'm told.
