Best of luck to my brother @oneandonlycp3. Do what's best for You and your family
W.T.F. asshat
Since Stern hit Gilbert with a huge fine for disparaging a player under contract with another team, he BETTER hit LeBron for making comments about a player under contract with another team who is in a semi-public dispute.

Now your original thread will have more space to shine on the board, as it well deserves.

From one of the other threads I'm sure is about to receive the axe:
I love the potential these two guys showed last season, but I am not sure we should build our entire franchise around these two just yet.

Simmons' original point has nothing to do with why Paul might be traded now though.
This isnt really about money

can you 'splain for my dumbass?

CBS and ESPN have conflicting lists of the teams CP3 is apparently demanding to go to.
CBS says Knicks, Lakers, and Magic. ESPN says Knicks, Magic, Blazers, and Mavs.

Chris Broussard said Knicks, Blazers, Magic, and Mavs, so I'll go with that.

Chris Paul could be had if you can save them a boatload of money in the process.
Theyd be more than happy to pay him whatever he wants

gotya, and on that point I sort of agree. Although when you consider the Okafor contract then it does become somewhat about money....

maybe.....but you'd be crazy to give away a young inexpensive asset like Collison for nothing. crazy.

I agree... i was just saying they could get rid of him if they had to

not with the prospects of a hard cap in the new CBA after the lockout
you guys are worried about the 2010/2011 when trading CP3 now would be for what happens in 2011/2012 with the CBA
as presently constructed the Hornets are at best a 7 or 8 seed in the West, one and done in the playoffs. So why worry about now when you have the opportunity presented to your team by CP3 for him to be the bad guy in the trade.
That is what you all were so worried about, that if they traded CP3 people would give up on the team and stop supporting them causing them to move. Well what if CP3 was the bad guy that forced the move? Will fans still bail on the Hornets? I dont think so at all based on how they supported the team after he got hurt.
Hornets franchise >>> any one player
