NAW has looked a lot better in the last half of the 4th quarter
I hope he can carry the confidence over because he has looked really bad in non-garbage time.

Daniels trying to tell us the garbage minutes mean something over and over is making me want to break my tv
It is good in the sense that NAW saw some shots finally go down and Jax got minutes.

JJ was out here saying don't frick up my playoff streak and he's the one out here fricking the team

My only solace is that most teams suck without their best two players. Before the season, Jrue and Zion were our best two best players. Ingram has been a pleasant surprise.
We were 4-0 last year and riding high. It’s a long season, but that’s where Uncle Al has to come in and steer the ship.

The team they are playing, got destroyed last night. It happens. If this kind of play continues, then yes, you can say regressed. But not after one really bad performance.
Again, yes you can lol.
We have a four-game sample size, our fourth game was drastically worse in every facet compared to the first three, that by any definition of the word is a regression.
I get what you're trying to say, that we shouldn't rush to definitive conclusions, write the team off after one hiccup, and I'm not, but this was objectively bad. Really bad.
Hopefully, the few positives late in garbage time like NAW looking confident and Hayes showing some flashes can be the lone bright spot. But Griffin is going to start getting some bad thoughts I suspect if Alvin lays too many more duds like this in the coming weeks/months. As there really is no excuse. The one thing a young team should have is energy and hustle, and even that looked cathartic tonight.

JJ was awesome our first two games and we couldn’t take advantage.
We don’t run any actual plays for him. It’s just run off screens over and over. Gentry again. Same with us defense. No system to hide a below average defender.
Also, I do think those minutes were big for naw and Hayes. It looked like summer league and preseason. They need to play together. They have great chemistry, and naw really relies on that athletic pick and roll threat to create his separation

Yeah, it was bad. But we will have to agree to disagree about regressing after 4 games.

Think I let the offseason buzz get to my head and ignored some very obvious warning signs
Gentryism #1: "we're gonna shoot in the first 4 seconds of the shot clock"... we also have a bunch of pretty poor, or at least extremely streaky, shooters
Gentryism #2: "jrue is great at defense.. he'll guard their best player"... jrue forced to guard guys like Siakam

Anyone wanna bet Jax doesn’t see any minutes when favors and jrue are back

Should he? He is a liability on defense.

Our entire front court is a liability on defense. Have you seen the points in the paint against this team this season? We’re a black hole done there.

Off screens/pick and roll are what has been drawn up for most of his career.
