That baseline fadeaways should result in a fine every time he takes it

That baseline turnaround shot BI takes is money more often than not. If you want to try and say he doesn’t make that shot often then you don’t watch the Pels enough. And the shot clock was winding down on that possession after BI had hustled to get an offensive rebound. Maybe if we didn’t have two guys out there who don’t have to be guarded when they don’t have the ball maybe BI would have some space to get to the rim.

We need to get him a better shot. Take a timeout abd run a play for him. That is a very difficult arse shot and again one he missed near crunch time v Minnesota.

Willie is more than okay with this style of closing out games. We constantly keep doing it.

This is one of the biggest reasons why I want BI traded away. Remove the temptation for Willie to even rely on that garbage in crunch time, assuming Griffin doesn’t have the balls to fire him too. Imagine if Willie was forced to let Zion run the offense or having CJ or Trey take high quality shots since they don’t rely on fadeaway midrange shots as their entire offense.

No man get a coach to use BI better. You don’t trade away stars to help a shite coach. You get a better coach.

The problem is I don’t think any coach will change BI. He has crafted his entire game around garbage low percentage shots. There’s no way in my opinion that BI will ever change his game enough to be a winning basketball player worth $40+m a year.

The baseline fadeaway is a good weapon to have for a team/player , only when it’s late in the clock and you don’t have anything else. It should be a way to always get a shot off . It shouldn’t be used early in the shot clock

And it was taken late in the shot clock.

That is BIs signature shot, the turnaround fadeaway from the right side. He was probably about 3 feet further than he’d like to be on it, but it’s still a good shot for him

Let’s focus on Zions 3 turnovers and stupidity of putting his shoe back on instead of getting back as opposed to BI actually getting a shot off.

B.I. may have passed out if he hadn't seen 2 players who don't belong on an NBA court in the final minutes miss wide open shots. over and over.

He also might not shoot those shots if he had a coach who could call a couple of set plays a game that actually work.

When the last time we got a good shot of out the inbounds with a few seconds left? how many times have we seen the other team get great shots off the inbound?

Time for a change. And it ain't the players. Unless you want to try and get this much talent through some other means, as a SMALL MARKET. Like unicorns and gold at the end of the rainbow. Like so many like to believe. Ha the team will be up out New Orleans/Louisiana before that ish happens. Trade B.I. trade Zion.!! for what? Someone that will leave once their contract is up? Naive lil children.

Ya herd Willie's press conference? Throws his players under the bus no blame put on himself.

Sorry, end rant

There is a reason Steve Kerr benched him for Josh Hart. Ingram simply isn't a winning basketball player.

Fadeaway 17 footer with a guy on him is always a terrible shot.

Would you rather a turnover?

Yeah the Rockets were getting layup dunks at the end and BI jacks two 18-foot fadeaways and Zion dribbles one out of bounds.

Biggest issue is the freedom they have in crunch time. Guys tend to revert to what's comfortable and that's generally not going to win you games with any consistency.

We have 5 years of data that says our stars can't consistently carry the team in crunch time. It keeps rearing it's ugly head time and time again. They do not play winning basketball and it becomes apparent when they play good teams who can close games.

Yep, we are way too predictable in crunch time - NBA teams are going to play tendencies and at some point you have to adjust....it just doesn't seem we ever do.

I mean the Rockets were spacing and moving and hitting the open man - we're iso dribbling with the two players everyone is expecting us to iso dribble with.

The Rockets weren’t like that last year. Yes brooks, van fleet help but the biggest difference is their head coach. If they played like that under Udoka, he would pull them.

Bi / Zion screen with 1:25 left

Like what even is this, just to get the switch in the post? It’s a half arse screen from Zion, BI barely trots around it…I don’t really understand it. The offense should be point Zion with everyone spacing the floor and Trey or bi setting a screen and he attacks or dishes it to the spacers. I’m not sure why we constantly put the ball in BIs hands and let him settle for his god forsaken stupid fricking mid range fades.

Because this organization is trying really hard to make BI the guy. While guys like Trey and Zion take a backseat. Its idiotic and dumb. The glimpses of BI have convinced this organization he is a superstar; but in realization hes a good player who can make an all star game here and there. This team is just so mismanaged.
