I think making her watch the Nets would have been the true punishment

She (and I) love going to the game. Her First game she gets to pick out this year’s shirt at the team shop too. She will learn from this.

Did she at least know to write it backwards in the mirror so it'd be forward on her head?

I believe so. Her teacher washed it off before I got to see it. She is regretting her decision now. I will let her watch the game after she is done studying.

You should have made them write the coffee shop name on their foreheads and post pics for the tickets.

I am a firm believer that she has my name on loan and she is to not do anything to tarnish it. One day she will marry and change her name. I’m never changing mine.

Edit: her behavior resulted in a text from her teacher. This is the first time I have ever been contacted by the school for anything that my daughter has done.

you get a teachable moment at very low cost.

1. She humiliated herself to please her crowd.

2. If she keeps her maiden name, her doings redound to her lineage, not some dude she marries. Let her consider the option that she is not the chattel of her husband.

Redound: contribute to her honor.

Avg marriage lasts 7 years
