Same with Kawhi Leonard.

Not exactly, Leonard didn’t play at all. Ingram carried this team when healthy. Then CJ got here and young players began to improve.

But by all means, continue your Ingram hate.

I am not the one trying to create a debate. I asked how long a player is considered an all star. That applies to Ingram, McCollum and Zion.

You joined in to knight for your favorite player and try to cast me as taregting him. When I've done no such thing. But you'll just ignore all this and jump back on your primary mission as always.

You just buzzed by my point. Is Leonard an allstar? Do people describe him that way? If he played, he would have been one. Is that how people are using it?

Cool. Thanks..

Thinly veiled swipe.

In most cases, if you’ve been an All Star, you are referred to one as long as you’re still playing well.

I thought you weren’t making a point? Just asking as question?

Leonard is referred to as an All Star, All NBA. How much do you actually follow basketball, besides just posting about it? Do you actually watch games, listen to the commentary? Or do you exclusively watch the First Takes and read articles online?

quote:

Cool. Thanks..

It’s your MO at this point. One would have to be retarded not to acknowledge it.

There you go. That's what I was looking for. I guess that is somewhat fair. I appreciate that response.

Does this make sense to you?

If there were any games going on right now, do you believe the color commentators have more insight or knowledge than all the bloggers, insiders and analysts?

So listen to Antonio Daniels over Woj or whatever talking heads?

The only person not making any sense is you.

As the ever growing number of posters point out, you’re either a troll, completely obtuse in terms of following the NBA, mentally challenged, or a combination of the three.

Constantly saying ridiculous stuff-in this very thread you suggest two top 20 players being traded for 1. All in the same age group.

That’s retarded. Especially when Luka is more than likely closer to his ceiling than Ingram or Zion. But for BOTH. Son, know when to walk away from TD.

Remember when you said I’d be banned within a month for interacting with you? How’s that going?

It's a sport, Randy, not a novel. You should toss out whatever "research" methods you use because this look just makes the takes worse.

I am over 11 years on the board and have been the same the whole time. Little cliques and groups come and go. There are hundreds of users, thousands of lurkers. You think a dozen people going at me is going to change anything?

Go back and look at my posts you will notice one major thing. No upvotes. Then look at yours. No downvotes. Why does that matter? Cause I don't care enough to upvote myself or downvote you. It just doesn't bother me.

You hid for a bit, then cane back with a lighter touch. This is honestly the first exchange we have had since then. I guess you are back on it for whatever reason.

I've carried this thread through the deadest part of the offseason to 7 pages and its picking up again. You don't have to participate..

Lighter touch? More than likely you reeled in your troll job.

Yeah, that’s the problem. No one’s cut off your internet.

You quite literally were whining about being pushed off this board and how you won’t be bullied.

You troll enough where other posters, think to themselves “is this guy retarded? Let me check by correcting him.”
Asking dumb questions like “Ingram + Zion for Luka-who says no?” Isn’t carrying a thread. It’s being a troll.

I've downvoted every post on the last three pages of this thread, because it does bother me, because it's a trash thread.

Zion has a lot less to prove than you think he does on the court. As he has been HISTORICALLY GREAT when he played 81% of schedule games in Year 2.

Since your handle is Celtic Dog, I’ll put it to you like this: Zion a better player than Jaylen Brown and he’ll be better than Tatum in about 3 years.

Ingram is a better player than Brown now. He might get to Tatums level as well.

So, would you trade Brown and Tatum for Luka?

This is false, you know more than that, you just are choosing to use only last year's data.

I don't know people keep using the term "All Star" to describe guys that weren't that last season or ever.
You're the same guy who said this:

I think All Stars are guys that have been on an all star team and pretty recently, within a season or two..
So you don't know why we use All Star to describe Zion despite it fitting the criteria you set forth?

Zion is the only one it might fit. He has the best chance to an all star again.

Ingram has a less than 50/50 shot to be an allstar this year and he hasn't been one the past two seasons. McCollum has never been an allstar.

So saying we have 3 Allstars is just not factual. That's all I pointed out..

Simple Jack carrying this thread.

Less than a 50/50 shot? How are you calculating these odds? He’s increasingly getting better, many wings in front of him are getting older/declining, & the Pels are going to be a contending team this season. If the Pels start off well, all 3 of them have a good shot. But once again, you take an anti-winning position.

So what again, how is it less than 50/50?

What a massive troll.

If for any reason this board needs a mod it’s for troll posters like yourself.

I am just using logic. With Zion back and the McCollum addition, he is going to have less touches and his scoring will be down. He should be in that 20ppg range. Going to be difficult to be an allstar, unless his defense becomes elite.

quote:

He’s increasingly getting better, many wings in front of him are getting older/declining

Its a super crowded field with a lot of elevating players and returners from injury this season. I don't think it's slotted by positions either. They just take the best players as reserves.

quote:

So what again, how is it less than 50/50?

It's 50/50 someone gets hurts and he can be showcased again. Otherwise he is not getting the numbers necessary to get in. We have seen him play with both of the other guys and his numbers decline. He was down across the board last year. Plus he'd have to stay healthy as well.

quote:

If for any reason this board needs a mod it’s for troll posters like yourself.

What would they do? I am disagreeing with you. I'm going to get banned for that? You always reference the O/T and Poli board. There are guys that generate 100 pages of hate threads and never get banned. I'm not calling anyone names or ever mention anything personal. I believe I am pretty safe..
