Loomis method regarding free agency and drafts

Let us not forget. We had some really poor Saints drafts from 2014-2016 and some spectacular free agent busts.
Jeff Ireland came in and took over the draft. You can see the results. It also allowed the rest of the front office to deal with FA. Not saying we've had the league-best FA program the last couple of years, but it's well improved.
It's the same script the Pels need to follow.

People suck Loomis's dick re the saints but the saints FO was largely trash prior to 2 years ago.

1) Loomis is indeed a big part of the problem and I’ve heard talking heads talk about his “reputation” and the players definitely know about stuff like that.
2) Loomis is not our GM. He probably forgets about the Pelicans weekly until he gets that check stub in the mail.

He was very boom or bust in the draft with more busts than booms prior to Ireland coming aboard.
In the Payton era 2006, 2009 and 2011 were good FA classes. 07, 08, 10, and 12-16 were mostly complete shite.
