So we had lost a close game on the road against a team that has one of the greatest ever and suddenly our season is over?
Let’s calm down. After Portland hopefully beats the clippers, we’ll still be two games ahead in the loss column. Things will turn out just fine. No matter what happens you have to be proud of this team for not calling it a season after Boogie went down.
I’ve been a hornets/pels fan for awhile now any time there’s a winning season, you just need to appreciate it.

They lost to Portland at home too. They got their arse destroyed @ Houston, but that one is understandable considering the circumstances. They lose Sunday they are fricked

If they lose to Memphis or Phoenix next week, then it’s time to panic.

Not really, if they lose Sunday, they’ll probably still make the playoffs.
The Clippers have a brutal schedule left over, the only team they’re playing that’s not currently slated to be in the playoffs is the lakers, and they can easily beat the clippers as well.
After Sunday, the pelicans play the grizzlies and suns, those are must wins. Plus, they might be able to steal a game from the Warriors with their roster being hampered with injuries and possibly resting starters given they’re stuck at 2. If you get those two wins against tanking teams and win at least two of thunder, warriors, spurs, and clippers. They’ll be in the playoffs.

What bothers me isn't the fact that we lost to the best player in the league, it's the fact that our star player was setting screens at the 3 point line for the last 5 minutes and was content with people like Etwaun Moore and Ian Clark taking shots to close the game out. No one besides him or Jrue should've taken a shot unless they were wide open. Jrue tried his best but AD looked like he was coasting.
