Or maybe the point guards make the supporting cast. Maybe a quality point guard makes the players around them better. Just a thought.

You are a moron. Robin Lopez is having a career season with Vasquez. Aminu shows flashes of competency. Anderson has exceeded basically every career average.

However, the best PG in the league can't turn a turd into pumpkin pie. Even Chris Paul ran away from here and now that we have more than 50% of the NBA salary cap suited up, we're one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Again, you are a moron.

He's not going to be making $1 million for the next 3-5 years.

Christ, you people are living in the moment.

Vazquez is better than Deron, Curry and Rondo now?

Nobody said that. If you like Monty Williams, you don't want Williams. If you like stars that stay healthy, you don't want Curry. Rondo is an all-star, but the Celtics seem to be crumbling with the big 3 while Rondo reaches his prime. You make sense of it.

I don't want Deron, he's shown to me he's not someone you build a franchise around. Period.

Curry, i like Curry over Vasquez... injury is only issue to question.

Rondo is tough for me, i'll say rondo is better but i almost feel like vasquez is kind of a poor man's rondo. Rondo definitely has a bit better court vision and play making nak but Greivis is getting there. For cost purposes, i could go Greivis, plus Rondo is a firecracker.

Okay

$2.15 < $13

$3.2 < $13

Yeah, Rondo seems a bad bowl of cheerios away from a Sprewellian meltdown at some point.

Please show me where I said something negative about anyone of these players in this thread?

Top 12 point guards don't make 2.15 and 3.2 million after rookie deals. So either he isn't a top 12 point guard or he will be making more money.

When you bring cost into it, it's hard to find a better value than GV.

If you are talking who is better from a pure talent standpoint, this thread has went full retard.

Deron Williams is one of the best PGs in the league. He led some garbage Utah teams deep in the playoffs and the Net teams he was on were shitty. They are rolling right now, too.

Rondo was the glue to a championship team and has led the league is assists multiple times.

You're talking about guys who have been doing for years, not 30 games.

The thread title doesn't ask who is more talented.

He still has 2.5 years left on his current deal...

And he has subsequently destroyed every decent team he has been on. I agree that he is more talented, but I don't want his attitude that goes along with it. That's asking for trouble with a young team.

Yeah, with 3 future hall of famers. He also has some attitude problems. I would actually consider bringing in Rondo, but his shooting is just so terrible that you need to surround him with great scorers (Garnett, Pierce, Allen).

If he is a top 12 point guard, it will only be 1 more season.

This is the answer to the question, "who would you take?" With Gordon healthy, he is a great complement and a great value.
