I'm guessing now one watched a Weber St game this yea. Instead, let's google his stats and pretend like we know he's a good player
Lillard concerns me. On paper he seems like a good fit with Gordon, but he just hasn't proven it against good competition. His college stats/career is pretty much the equivalent of Terrence Williams averaging a triple double in the DLeague. That doesn't mean he can't play but the numbers could be inflated enough to make a bench player look like a starter. At a bare minimum he needs to look great against other top guards in team workouts or I wouldn't draft him at 10.
And I want nothing to do with Marshall either. He's just not the type of PG to put next to Gordon IMO. We are looking for a younger, better version of Jarrett Jack.

I'm warming up to the idea of getting rivers with our second pick. We need some scorers to compliment Gordon. My biggest concern is if he will be able to run the point. But just think if we had a core of Robinson, Gordon, Rivers. Now that is something to fap to

Is this even a question? Lillard, any day of the week.

Lillard and it's not close. Marshall reminds me of Vazquez too much. Better passer, but does literraly nothing else well. Couldn't defend at the college level. Lillard has some major question marks as well due to his role and lack of competition in college, but I'll take those questions over hoping Marshall becomes faster or learns how to shoot.

I think Marshall is going to be an excellent player, but I would prefer Lillard for the Hornets because he's a better fit to play alongside Gordon. That said, I most definitely would not trade up for either of them. We are solid at the position and neither player will be a major upgrade, IMO. I'd rather sit back and hope Perry Jones, Austin Rivers, Quincy Miller, Jared Sullinger, Jeremy Lamb, etc. falls into our hands.
