despite his infamously bad shooting at the line, Shaq's 50.4 percent shooting dwarfs Lonzo Ball's current percentage. In his second season, Ball is shooting 41.7 percent from the line, a figure down from his already-bad rookie season when he shot 45.1 percent.

Yeah that's a concern. He has kicked it out on driving attempts where he might get fouled so he doesn't have to go to the line.

FWIW, NBA.com shows his career FT% as 43.7%. Does that make you feel any better? LOL

Elfrid shot 74% FT this season and has been in the mid high 60s since his rookie year

The only potential silver lining is he shot like 66%(which is still real bad for a guard) from the line in college so a 20% dip in the pros has to be mental.

Legit concern. He probably won't be able to finish games if it keeps up. Moore will have to take his place as our team is constructed now. We have $18m right now to add players, so let's chill.

Plus Ball only makes ~$8m this season. We can survive him being a 30mpg player that can't be on the court for ~5mpg.
