If Davis is on the floor and holiday goes on a 20-0 run by himself then AD's +/- will be +20 now tell me how did that have something to do with AD?

So defense doesn't come into play whatsoever?

Dumbass you just proved my point that the stat was irrelevant. I appreciate that.

Please explain to me why Player Efficiency Rating doesn't mean anything as to how an individual player is performing. In detail.

David Thorpe and Zach Lowe think Davis has been the best player in the league this year. That's all I need to know. Why anyone would take Jalen Rose seriously is beyond me. Rose is as annoying as it gets as far as people on tv talking sports, in my opinion.

Ppl need to stop looking at stats and just watch the games. There are way too many variables in a game to put a percentage on how 1 particular player impacts a game. AD is going to be a great player in the league for a long time. When I say he's nowhere near the best to me it means that KD and LBJ are hands down the best players in the world and there isn't a player close to them right now.

Right why would someone take the words from a guy who actually played in the NBA at an all star level for years? Lmao

For this season only would you take him over KD or LBJ?

You honestly think Jalen watches and studies basketball as much as those other guys. This idea that because someone played, that makes them smarter than everyone is nonsense. If that was true, wouldn't every coach and gm be former players?

You are defending a guy who put old Kobe Bryant, who is having a terrible year, over the guy who is forcing people to seriously consider if he is better than Durant and LeBron.

I understand basketball is about wins, but there is only so much one man can do. You said it yourself, there are tons of variables. For us, it's a sub par coach, zero depth, a roster that doesn't quite fit, and an historically good division/conference. None of that takes away from the fact that Davis is playing well enough to be in the conversation for best player in the world.

Wayne has made a great NHL coach hasn't he? Look at how good those Hornets are under MJ.

I agree with everything you just said. But to say he's the best player in the world is a reach. KD and LBJ are the top tier guys in this league by themselves the 2nd and 3rd tier guys are up for the debate.
