still confused with how the lakers trade got canceled because it wasnt enough, lets recap for chris paul we got Aminu ( The Beez Neez AKA. he is good) Kaman ( Plays for the Mavs ) Eric Gordon ( $58 million )and the 10th pick overall ( Austin Rivers ) Take out Aminu and we got trade raped

Okay, now let's look at the Lakers deal. We get KMart (solid player with big contract that's expiring this year. Also he's getting up there in age.), scola (another big contract who is not worth what he is getting paid. He is also in his 30s), Lamar Odom ( ), and maybe a young guy from the rockets. With that trade we become another mediocre team who's shackled by large contracts. We don't get the top pick and we also don't get the 10th pick.

Still wish we made that deal?

No matter what happened since he's been here, the best thing for this team is for Gordon to get healthy and suit up for us. There aren't many teams that are going to be interested in trading for him, and if they are, we most likely won't get an equal return. Everyone from the fans, to Monty, to Dell, to Benson is frustrated with his situation, but we do need him on the court. All of this booing and cursing him out on Twitter bullshite is just stupid. He's still our best player, and with him, we can be a pretty deadly team.

Did you see how he acted when he went to Dallas? Imagine if he came here. He'd be acting 20x worse than anything EG is doing now.

The Clippers deal was obviously better. Long term the success of the trade will depend on Gordon getting and staying healthy. I've seen nothing to indicate that he will stay healthy.

Gordon is a goldbrick. We never should have matched that contract offer from the Suns. He obviously does not want to play here. He is mentally weak and a sorry excuse for a competitor. He should be ashamed of himself. Hard to believe teams don't have any recourse in situations like this.

I think we should trade him he isnt offerring anything at this time except warming the bench. At least we will get someone who can give a few minutes a game.

Of course getting a warm body on the court is better than what we're gettin out if eg now, but I have a feeling teams will be lining up to trade rape us if we put Gordon on the block. We have no leverage when he's played all of 9 games in a season and a half.

The trade ultimately landed us Anthony Davis. I dont care if Lemonhead ever plays/wants to play with the Hornets again because other high caliber players will. No longer are we a place players have to settle for. Some free agent (one who can actually get on the floor and contribute) is gonna want to play here in the near future.
