If the pelicans game day team doesnt roll out some Alvarado heads every time he hits a three this season I’m going to riot.

Jose plays with as much energy and passion as I’ve ever seen within this franchise

So refreshing to see our young up and comers appreciate the opportunity to play the game at a high level

I joked about it this past year but could he seriously become a Fred VanVleet type player? He simply makes 2 point shots better than an under 6 foot guy should

His finishing at the rim is ridiculous. Shoots over centers regularly. Makes no sense for someone his size. Also have seen him pull up from deep as hell against the US and Mexico teams. Really think we could still be underrating Jose.

It's honestly amazing what he's accomplished being an undrafted sub 6ft guy.

Regardless of his ceiling he's already won this fanbase over forever.

Seems to be a NOLA thing.

Guys who come from nothing to being a big part of the team are loved, like Pierre Thomas (UDFA running back) and “Beerman” Michael Lewis (beer truck driver turned kick returner) with the Saints.

Upside only exists until you get too old to perform or get too expensive for what you bring to the table.

Kira’s probably getting moved this season if he doesn’t step it up majorly.

Completely agree. Especially if Jose takes another step up again.

Dyson can easily play backup PG too for spurts.

If they ship Kira out we can pretty easily get by with CJ/Dyson/Jose

It still blows my mind that we have Dyson on the team

The Lakers fricked up hugely

To be fair, it's really on Anthony Davis not living up to his potential. That season that we swept Portland, Boogie went down and Westbrook got in his ear at the ASB and AD came back on fire looking like the top 5 player he could have been. Klutch pounced that summer.

If you were the Lakers you had every reason to believe he'd be worth those picks.

AD’s problem hasn’t typically been performing well on the court. It has been “staying on the court” since he was a rookie.

A change of scenery just exposed how bad it was to a wider audience who didn’t see him get a body cast for a paper cut every other night.

Dyson is definitely a PG over SG.

You absolutely want the ball in his hands and to take advantage of his size mismatch.
