So this season was fun as hell, but I just wanted to pose this question and see what y’all thought. Obviously, Jose was playing phenomenal D on Chris Paul but I really think something else that was valuable about him was that he was aggressive on offense with looking to drive and kick or dump off.

I think maybe having a PG on the floor with CJ and BI that plays aggressively like that could really help our offense be less stagnant and rely less on Ingram and CJ to just iso so often. Then they’d both get more opportunities to just catch and shoot or go to the rim. Thoughts?

I know it's been a while, but I swear some of you have forgotten what Zion can do.

Zion being able to defend opposing "centers" would be huge.

Jose manned up on offense in the playoffs, shooting 40% from 3. We're not taking Herb or CJ off the floor to end games.

Val is a GREAT player, but
-Jose (assuming that he can keep shooting 37-40% from 3 on limited attempts)
-CJ
-Herb
-BI
-Zion

is probably our highest potential lineup to finish games. It's a good problem to have.

Haha. Fair point. I still think having Jose or another PG on the floor that attacks will help different lineups and allow CJ and BI to catch the ball in better situations rather than having to completely create their own shot especially when Zion isn’t in the game.

Last year he was really bad at it in the few minutes he had to do it. Maybe Willie can get it out of him where SVG couldn't, because you're right, it would make a huge difference in finishing off the roster.

If Herb could teach him to take a charge. McCollum will help us get more foul calls. Boys we have a squad of winning players. I’m never like awww shite this guy is in. Maybe Snell actually but that’s it

We also have Kira, assuming he didn't lose much with the ACL injury. He still needs to add a floater and 3, but if you just want another player that can break down the defense, he can do that too with his speed.

There's also the top 10 pick. We really need to wait for the Lottery and draft to happen before we say what we need. You should be able to get a long term starter and short term rotation player with that pick.

Yes, because you have to actually play to do something.
