Any idea if we are bringing back Elf?

Seems like even with Zion's contract, if we move hill and moore, we can grab a few FAs.

Zion basically takes Randle's spot I assume.

You have a plan to move Hill and Moore into space?

Id be perfectly happy with:

Brogdon
Veteran 3+D wing(dont have to go all out due to brogdon basically being one anyway)
Elfrid on a reasonable deal

Call it a day

I’m with ya LosLobos. Brogdon, Terrance Ross, Payton/veteran PG, and a late round 1st round pick are great additions to me.

Kemba is a name..

Hes a scoring threat every night, but he will give up just as many points as he scores..

Brogdon is a guy that will come in and do EVERYTHING we need him to (high quality defense, 40+% 3pt shooting, good facilitator), and for alot less of a price tag..

Someone like Kemba is also limited to the 1-2 spot, Brogdon is alot more versatile and could slide from the 1-3 spots..

You need to avoid looking at "name" players, and look at fit players, and Brogdon is one of the best fits

Brogdon is not that great of a facilitator. Elfrid Peyton is a better facilitator but is not nearly the all around player brodgon is. I like brogdon a lot but he's a good scorer not an elite scorer. If you get him for 15 to 17 million per year thats fine but he's not worth 84 million over 4 years. Kemba is not just a name he is one of the best PGs in the league. He's a better facilitator, scorer and makes the pels a better team than brodgon does

If his price tag is substantially less that would be great but ppl on this board are saying to pay him over 20 mil a year and he's not worth that

I like kemba but he needs the ball in his hands and may stifle Zion

Brogdon way better off ball shooting and can defend 3 positions (kemba can't )

Kemba will also want a max(and its HIGHLY doubtful he'll consider NO) and while I think 20 mil for brogdon is a bit much and id rather 16-18

You need to quantify what you mean by 'is not worth'. It's it the opportunity cost of not being able to sign someone else or do you just not like the number in a vacuum? Gayle is willing to spend big don't forget

He's not a good enough player to warrant that contract. You can spend half the money on a Beverly or rozier and sign a decent vet wing like Rudy Gay for the price of signing just brogdon

Yeah but Beverly lacks size, isn't near the shooter, and is about five Years older. Rozier isn't the defender, shooter and seems to have an attitude problem. Locking up Brogdon gives the Pels backcourt size and locks up continuity for the next few years. I'd rather overspend on a great fit than just stop-gap and hope something better comes along.

He's not a good enough player to warrant 20 million a year?

You have to remember in the case of Brogdon, you are bidding against Milwaukee who can go over the cap to sign him, along with trying to sell him on your team rather than the other 29 teams offers..

I wouldnt say he's worth 20 million, but he will get 16-18 million regardless, so why not overpay 2-4 million for a great fit?

Rozier would be my 2nd choice mainly because of his confidence, and I still would like Elfrid back to run the 2nd team
