But this was a good trade for the Rockets.

you know, it is possible that it's good for both teams.

Along with the AB deal that was supposed to be part of the reason for the trade. They didn't think he was going to it into the offensive system

When did I say it wasn't? I just don't think Ariza is the next Scottie Pippen and worth 10 more wins.

Ariza is alot better than people give him credit far dwade and cbosh would be better suited for a championship with him and his contract rather than lebron and his...hence they might be able to have a roster with more than 8 people

ariza is a great player but he should never have the weight of being a #1 or 2 scorer on a team like he did in houston. as a role player he can shoot much more efficiently than 39% from the field.

I've seen this tossed around and it's pretty retarded. Ariza was the 4th option the team behind Kevin Martin, Scola, and Brooks. While I do think he'll benifit from playing with Paul, he's going to be asked to be the 3rd/4th option in NO just like he was in Houston.

no, he's a good role player.

kmartin only played 24 games for the rockets and even when c. landry was there ariza still took the 2nd most shot attempts on the team. i think he just felt alot of pressure to be the man or something. but you are definitely right he is just a role player. he is alot better than a rick fox or doug christie though in my mind.

Yeah he signed there thinking he was going to be the man, but the problem is he can't create his own shot. He took a lot of bad shots. Playing with Paul should help. I think he'll average around 13 ppg but he'll be more efficient with the Hornets.

Pretty much everyone is more efficient with Paul, he'll be fine as long as they develop some chemistry
