no doubt. emeka probably shouldnt have the weight of being a center on his shoulders.

emeka plays below the rim. i honestly think he is more of a power forward but i guess bower thought he was a center.

i dont think the warriors would roll with that trade anyway. i know they are anxious to split up ellis and curry though. we could definitely use a guy like biedrens.

kmartin only played 24 games for the rockets and even when c. landry was there ariza still took the 2nd most shot attempts on the team. i think he just felt alot of pressure to be the man or something. but you are definitely right he is just a role player. he is alot better than a rick fox or doug christie though in my mind.

ariza is a great player but he should never have the weight of being a #1 or 2 scorer on a team like he did in houston. as a role player he can shoot much more efficiently than 39% from the field.

i didnt know that about his foot. he is kind of a lightweight too but i miss seeing him throw down those oops from paul.

i agree. you almost need one solid QB recruit every year.
***florida away
haha jj is not redshirting. it is crazy to even assume that would happen. im not so sure at this point that i would want j lee to start against mcneese much less florida at home.
re: With all this talk about Marc Gasol...

Marc gasol is a legit true center which is hard to come by. west is a high scoring pf on a mediocre team. if the numbers work out you would have to take the swap.
ariza is definitely a hobo's pippen, but he seemed to fit in with the laker's better than artest.

rivers also seems to be super hit or miss. there is not much hype about rivers, but i would take him over ely.
i would say mt is more of a ben gordon type guard. always going to be a 6th man type who can really fill it up. bellini might start but definitely wont get as many minutes as mt.
If they dont get a transfer or a juco player they might be forced to start rivers
