I’m not sure if our coaches have the nerve, but splitting our “top 3” might be the key

I am of the opinion that BI, CJ, and Zion are all 3 very good players, BI and Zion bordering on great players.
Unfortunately when the 3 of them are on the floor, we just don’t mesh all of the time, one of them ends up having to do things they aren’t comfortable doing or things that don’t play to their strengths.
Having one come off the bench and finding a rotation that has 2/3 on the court the majority of the time and 1/3 on the court at all times might be the best way to go. Especially since (if we ever get fully healthy), we have lots of guys who can contribute.
When all 3 are on the court, we take away opportunities for the other guys since one of those 3 is nearly always going to be trying to make a play, plus they just end up taking turns.
The problem is I don’t see this happening, I don’t think any of the 3 is going to willingly give up minutes and I’m not sure the coaches have the stones to put one of them on the bench when the player isn’t willing.

Hard to come to this conclusion when you haven't seen them together this year yet. Play style is clearly different with JV and Nance gone and playing 5 out.

That trio played 43 games together last year. They had a -3.2 NetRtg
They played 10 games together the year before, +16.5 NetRtg
That is the extent of that trio playing together. 53 games out of a possible 205 games.

You’re right, it’s just an intuition I have having watched so much Pel’s the last 3 years. Obviously every year is different and we have some key new pieces that will drastically change how this team looks.
