I don't care if Portland has shut it down

I don't care if the presumptive league MVP sat out

we went west HOPING for 2-2... and we got 3-1 instead

These good teams ain’t shite without their best player. Funny how that works.

Would like to see him at the very least in the last game or two of the season. Would hate to have his first game back a playin or playoff game.

Pelicans need to win these four home games. That alone may put them in the seventh or eighth spot, maybe even sixth.

It takes 2-3 games to ramp up for most guys coming off of a high grade hammy. I'm not sure what conditioning Williamson will be in when he returns. If he doesn't get some regular season games in, I don't see how he'll play big minutes in the playoffs. Usually guys play 38-40 minutes a game in a series. I have to imagine Zion will have to play bench minutes for awhile.

I'm sure they had their reasons but...I think I'll just say, "Thank You, Denver"...and leave it at that.

4-1 would almost guarantee the 6 seed

frick that. Ingram and Zion have played a dozen games together this year. Plenty of losses when our top two guys have been out.

Yeah if we go 4-1 that would almost assuredly lock up the 6th. Clippers have some tough games, as do the TWolves. Not as hard as our schedule, but getting these games at home is huge. Really need Z back for the Grizz game. That could determine whether we are the 6 or 7. I think we can take the Clips, Wolves and Knicks.

Kings and Grizz will be the two toughest. None of them are easy but if we split those two and go 1-1. I like our odds of missing the play-in

I agree that a 3-1 ROAD record is very good. However, Zion MUST return B4 the playoffs start.

For sure, and came close to a 4-0 trip that I hope the Pels will learn from. We still trading BI for a bar of soap? Seriously, I'm worried about Nance, he looks like he's dragging his leg like Festus. Tilts against Clips and TWolves will determine if Pels get higher seeding in the play-in, add a win against Memphis and Pels likely are out of the play-in at 6. Blender needs to be rocking for the last homestand of the regular season.

compare Morant who missed 8 games for a non injury issue. he was starting when he went out. and averaging something like
27 6 7. he did not start his first two back and played 21 minutes the first back instead of 36ish.
and he was in shape and played most of the season.
