Orlando’s offense was laughable at times. No sets, no ball movement; just standing around while Banchero misses shot after shot and free throw after free throw. I didn’t want another non X’s and O’s coach but here we are.

Nori or Chris Quinn were my 2 hopefuls to get the head coach job.

Why would he leave Minnesota for this dumpster fire?

His last employer did. Yet, his friend bailed him out.

Because he’s an assistant in Minnesota, he’d be head coach in New Orleans. Even though we are garbage its still a head job in the NBA. Hard to pass that paycheck increase up and who knows if you ever get the chance to be a head coach again or not. Its in the past now though. We have to pray Mosley can figure out how to make Zion and Trey or Zion and Fears/Dejounte understand that the pick and roll should be this squad’s go to move. You have an uber athletic bull that takes 2 defenders with him when he drives to the basket and a sharpshooter in Trey as well as an improving Fears 3 ball. No reason Zion shouldn’t be averaging 7 assists a game.

The post I was replying to was someone hoping we get him as an assistant. Why would he leave Minnesota for a lateral move here?

He wouldn’t. Nori was my top want for head coach followed by Chris Quinn or Rondo. Rondo would have given the team and fans a jolt of needed excitement but Nori was the best option IMO.
