Calling for Sterns head after he nixed a trade that brought us back a 31 year old pf who has a 4 year 40 mil contract, an extremely efficient scorer who plays no D, has a 2 year 25 mil deal and is almost 29, Odom (who would fit in great for a contending team cough mavericks cough but isn't looking to rebuild) and a pretty good point guard who was really the only piece to a rebuilding team. Oh and the knicks first rounder. And people thought this was the best we could do for CHRIS PAUL?? It was a decent trade, better than nothing for sure but come on. Stern says no, because not only does this trade keep the hornets around mediocrity, but gives us no chance at rebuilding a team that can one day be taken seriously, and also greatly reduces the chances potential owners would still wanna buy the hornets with that roster. And he knew he could get better. You don't just jump on the first couple offers when trading a TOP 10 PLAYER. Some of the talk on here has been just laughable. Anyways Stern came through and got us a hell of a deal to set us up for future succes. And it took him a whole 5 days. SO LOOK AT OUR ROSTER AND STOP WHINING, THIS WILL BE A FUN YEAR. Not to mention the the loaded draft in which we have to potential lotto picks

In all fairness, most people who were mad about the Lakers-rockets deal were people who already heard about the Clippers trade and thought it wasn't going to happen. So, take away this deal and the GSW rumored trade for steph curry and I'd say the 3 team trade with the Rockets and Lakers were our best option.

David stern also lied to Dell Demps and Monty Williams about the leagues involvement in running the franchise. I was one of the people who preferred a clippers deal to any other, but stern had no business vetoing the trade for the reasons he gave.

From the start, most people wanted either the deal we just made or a deal for curry.

I didn't hear what he said. But as far as the hornets organization goes im glad he did step in. It's a tough situation to be in, meaning we really need to get an owner. and yeah i agree the curry deal would have been great as well
