Hornets/Kings March 12 roll call thread

Just got tix. Exact half court; row 17 club A. Awesome! Between scoring well for the Kings and the sure standing-O he will get during the introduction he will for sure get the respect from his new teammates. As a side story: I just got NBA2K11 and popped in the PS3 and Thornton was a Hornet. The GF got excited to see it too. i ran an update and boom; gone. That game is so up to date it even has Landry on the roster.

I wouldn't be surprised if Thornton goes 9-13 with 20+ points.

Thinking about it i dont understand this LSU fans continued obsession with Marcus. Im an LSU fan, but its not like he was one of the best LSU players. Why people are latching on to him above the team baffles me. Do they root for Anthony Randolph over the Hornets? Glen Davis? Tyrus Thomas? Brandon Bass? Because lets be honest, they were all better players at LSU, and better in the NBA as well. Why Marcus, what makes him this peoples champ?

Not to mention he was a scorer and spark plug for the team and a Tiger thus became a fan favorite; not really that difficult to understand. I don't think many will place him over the Hornets, just a wierd circumstance with him and Coach what's his name

Best LSU players ever? really? You sir are a moron. When it comes to current NBA production he is also not up on that list. Davis is the most productive. Thomas and Randolph are way more well know and talented. And Bass and Davis were both also SEC players of the year. So the assessment that he was the best,simply because he one that award is an invalid one. And im sure i both watch more basketball than you as well as with a more discerning eye. Obviously.

I will be there cheering for Thornton and booing monty, there will be more cheering for Thornton than the hornets, we have a group of ten of us going, i hope the kings spank the hornets, and to say anthony randolf was a better tiger than Thornton...please, i barely know who Randolf is, the kid was a rent a player

Anthony Randolph was not a better player at LSU than Thornton. Bass, Thomas, and Davis are arguable because they were all very good.
How in the hell can you possibly say they are all better NBA players? Do you even watch the NBA?

Actually I 'm fifteen and dont get upset VOR because not everyone is a fan of your hornets. The writing is on the wall this team is outta here and your too blind to see that.
