But I do wonder what players think of him. I searched to find any kind of quotes coming from players that played under him in Philly, Brooklyn and Houston and I can’t find anything

Will Weaver is not going to go from being the Rockets’ end of bench assistant coach and downgrade to become head coach of the Pelicans.

I think Weaver could have been the hire last year and it wouldn't have been a big deal.
This year I don't see it happening. Its going to be a former player type.
