Kudos to Charlotte. Moving Melo while it's quiet. Memphis learning the hard way with Ja, but still moving....
And the Pels....still waiting on Zion to be anything but what he's shown year/year....
Pathetic.

I think (hope) that if a team offered us the same kind of deal for Zion we would have taken it.
The Hornets maybe saw what is happening with Zion and Ja and figured it was time to move on from their often injured star after a really good season.
Maybe we can trade Zion for Naz Ried.

Zion is who he is. Unfortunately, the league even knows it’s not going to get any better than an injury prone one trick pony. So, I’d imagine we can’t trade him because his stock is lower than Ja Morant.
It’s best to keep him and see if we can deal him to a desperate team going all in for a season during one of those hot streaks before he injuries himself. That’s the only path to get rid of him.

I am not going to get my hopes up, but he is still only 25 years old (it feels like he should be 40, this has been a long 7 years)
At 25 he could really improve and save some face over the next 5 years (max) . He has the talent and he is a force when he wants to be. He did improve from the previous season to this past season, in availability. I did not notice any other real improvements. He did not look worse but just not better.
So once again we are stuck with Zion and we can hope again it works. We saw how good he could be in the Lakers game at the end of the season to get us into the playin game. We just did not know it was a one time thing.
I am fan through and through. I watch when they suck and that one time they were good. I grew up a Saints fan since 1974, I can endure.

It all comes down to if Zion will trust his jump shot 2-3x a game to keep teams honest.
