The only negative I saw out of Ajinca was he got into foul trouble really early.
Better than these vagina arse whiteboy jumpshooters we have at the 4&5 getting run all over.

It was never about taking bad shots. He took open shots. He just always missed them, and that never stopped him from taking them, or acting like he was the best shooter in the league.
People need to stop worrying about the center position. This team needs to play to it's rosters strengths, and that means playing like the Nash/Amare/Marion Suns.

no, his role should be energy off the bench. he's very good at that.

He can foul all he wants if he can give us a solid 15-20 minutes night. One impressive thing to note, His vision is outstanding. There was a couple of passes he made that made me go wow.

Watched him with the Mavs. The guy really enjoys bricking 18 footers. He thinks he's Dirk or Aldridge, but he doesn't make those shots.
how long ago was that??? after how much improvement and good talk from scouts, players and coaches??

I think we should at least try Davis at starting center and see how it looks, but you lost me at the Morrow starting at SF part
Dude can't guard 2s, he will just get murder by 3s
It doesn't matter. This team has been put together to score. Morrow is much more valuable and a better fit than is Aminu. Aminu sucks the life out of the team on offense, and his defense doesn't make up for that.

We lose games because teams dominate in the paint and on the boards.

Balanced basketball is better.

Disagree. A lineup like that can work in spurts but definitely not as the main one if we want to contend. Too little defense
You all are missing the point. Look at the parts this team has. They might have the best group of individual offensive players in the league. That is their strength. Why try to force defensive lineups when it's not the strength of the roster? It makes no sense. George Karl or Mike D'Antoni would have this team playing like the most unstoppable offense in the league, running the exact starting lineup I proposed.

I get your point. You want to score score score. But that shite doesn't win games man

Ryan anderson has one of the worst opponent FG% at the rim marks for a PF in the nba

Defense is really important in the NBA
We're not like the Showtime Lakers or something on offense
We can't drop 140 every night and try to outscore people. Morrow at SF would be a disaster on defense, and Davis would likely be abused by the likes of Howard, Jefferson, and Hibbert.
Not to mention not being able to hide Anderson on defense because we have a string bean at C that can't really enforce the paint and make up for Anderson's less than stellar defensive prowess

I do agree that us running and gunning would be a lot of fun and probably relatively effective, but that would require considerably more coaching ability and know-how than we currently have

And is a great formula to be a perrenial 1st round flop in the playoffs

This team loses games because they try to force starting lineups with guys like Smith and Aminu, instead of just outscoring people.

If that's how your roster is setup, yes it is. But tell me this, would you rather keep forcing the issue with this defense stuff that this roster isn't built for, or would you rather just play to the team's strengths and run like the old Mavs, Suns, and Kings teams.
By the way, as much crap as those teams get, all were in contention every year. Kings were screwed by the refs out of a title. Suns were screwed by the refs against the Spurs out of a title. They were the best team that one year when guys got suspended. And Mavs were screwed out of a title by refs against Miami, and were consistent contenders along with the Kings, Lakers, and Spurs. But yeah, why would anyone want to watch their team play highly entertaining, winning basketball?

Change that to philosophy and different style of play. Then you'd be right.

Yea I suppose
I'll just go ahead and get it out there on what I'm trying to say here: Monty isn't very good

Really? It doesn't win games? Maybe you should check Portland's defensive numbers this year. Oh, and the Spurs haven't had a good defense in a while, and were in the Finals last year. And again, those Suns, Kings, and Mavs teams must have been horrible to watch scoring all those points and always winning 50 and 60 games every year. But you would rather keep forcing the issue with something that isn't working.

I find defense highly entertaining too. Smith was never meant to be a consistent starter. We've had injuries that had him starting.
So they were just always screwed by the refs? All the time?
ok man.

You think our best chance at winning includes Morrow in the starting lineup.
You're done.
