I literally was just thinking of the big dude we had that loved to play under the rim. I was drawing a blank. Then I saw this thread.

I could have just posted about a former Hornican trying to make a comeback, but it's a dead news period and what fun is that? That thread gets 3 replies.
I will also say that I was serious about Okafor in the veteran mentor role if we make some trade that open up roster spots. I don't think he helps AD/DC much, but that's why they're bringing in Sam Mitchell. But Captain Pilates would spend a lot of time before/after practice doing work on his body to prevent injury, a habit every Pelican should get into. I also think he'd be a good influence on Diallo. Okafor was the surprising anchor to a surprisingly effective top 10 defense for the Hornets. He always played under control and as I mentioned he's got good practice habits. He seems like a good choice to take a raw and not fully in control of his physical talents Diallo under his wing.
