If Dyson can develop even an average jump shot, he'll have a long career.

I don’t see temple being the guy they boot. We’ve got an extremely young team and Temple did exactly what you want him to do last year which was sit the bench and mentor guys. I think they end up making a pretty big trade with some combination of Hayes, Kira and Graham to clear the spots and salary.

We have CJ now and supposedly JV was a big influence to the young guys. Temple is no longer needed.

2 guys out of 13 isn’t exactly an perfect balance of youth an vets. I know Bi is another player that’s mature and respected, but having several guys to fill that role is still vital. People act like temple is making 20m a year and is forcing the teams hand to play him. If we are looking to clear a roster spot and lower our salary, it’s starts with Graham, not Temple.

salary is not the issue this year, roster room is the issue. Temple is the only easy path to roster room.

show us your graham trades that don’t require attaching a first or taking back equally bad salary

Nobody on the board knows what an actual Graham trade looks like because nobody is making calls to front offices. Salary doesn’t matter this year, but it does next year when we practically run back the same roster with pay raises. Graham is the most obvious guy to get rid of long term, which is why they were and probably still are actively shopping him.

well of course they are but it doesn’t have to happen this year. The team can afford to wait and see if he gets any better and/or one year comes off his deal and it’s easier to move him

the matter at hand this year is one roster spot. That problem is most easily solved by moving temple (5MM this season and non gtd next season), all they have to do is send out cash and a fake second to a team with cap room

Liddell upped his defense throughout his career.

He became a great shot blocker.

No one is herb.

CJ, Val, Nance, Billy, BI. That’s 5 veterans. Temple is making 5 mil on an expiring deal which is a lot easier to move than Graham. We also technically need him less than Graham because of positioning.

You don’t move a 12 mil positive asset for a 15th roster spot. You move the guy who isn’t getting playing time and isn’t needed for the 1 thing we brought him here for (veteran leadership).

He offers nothing else whatsoever. How much incremental leadership value does he give you over those already on the roster?
