Meh. I was never high on him and I'd like to see him get meaningful games under his belt before I make a judgment. Drafting based on high potential is what got Julian Wright on an NBA roster.

well maybe not you but i was responding to cp3's comment. i remember most people on the board getting real excited when he almost fell to us.

The thought did cross my mind when the Pistons were on the clock, but I was happy when they picked him so that we wouldn't have to make the choice.

This confused two situations:

1. Picking Drummond in the top 5 (I still think it would have been stupid)

and

2. Picking Drummond at 10 (had no problem with it if he fell)

This is how I remember it. Most were saying "no way we don't take him at 10," while a few were saying not in the first round.
