Murray has an injury season and now he sucks?

A few seasons ago he put together a 21 ppg/8 rpg/9 apg/2 spg season. He shot well from the field also. He then went to Atlanta and improved his 3 pt%.

Murray has been one of the top players in steals per game for years (around the top 10 in the NBA). He also led it one year also.

You conviently left out his fg% this year which was 49%.

Let me ask you this: do you think Dyson is an average offensive player, a below average offensive player, or an above average offensive player.

dropping his fg% so low.

Even with his fg% being lower, they had very similar PERs (15.4 to 15.6).

And again, Dyson played with his teams best player, Murray played very little with Zion, and played very little with his best players

Murray got 65 minutes all season with Ingram
108 minutes with Zion

Trae Young and Dyson Daniels played 1862 minutes together.

That makes a big difference

but DD has to work bye Ben harder on the other side for Traes historically bad defense.

You think Murray doesn't work as hard because he had a guy like CJ/Boston/Ingram in the back court with him?

Dyson is a much better defender than Murray, but let's not act like he doesn't play hard on that side too.
