I agree. I just saw a deal with the Rockets sending FVV, Whitmore, and 3 1sts. That seems about right for his age and being an expiring deal.

The Rockets have the desirable assets to do deals straight up. Why would they do doing 4 to 5 team deals? It doesn't seem necessary..

KD is KD, but he's 37 this upcoming year.

You have a handful of elite years left, you don't have much time to give up THAT much.

Yeah, I think the players could be swapped for FVV and a small salary, but what I put would be worst case Houston would have to send out IMO, depending on what other teams are offering Phoenix.

It’s essentially a 3 team deal where Houston gets Giannis and KD, then Milwaukee diverts assets to Pels/Memphis to get Pels what they would want so that Milwaukee could get their own picks back.

Houston would likely want it to be a multi team deal for money purposes, with that deal they’re sending out more money than they take in which keeps them from having any apron restrictions, and that can’t happen in a straight up deal for KD.

I don’t see Ja and Jabari Smith Jr as being worth two likely high firsts.

If Milwaukee is not getting their picks back in the deal then they will make a “win now” type of trade to still try to compete for the playoffs which means you won’t have a high pick. Them getting their picks back would likely determine the type of trade they make.
