You honestly think Murphy wouldn't help New Orleans?

Maybe before the trade deadline but not after trading for Landry.

We wouldn't have enough minutes to go around at the 4 and I don't think Murphy or Landry would be good at spelling Oak at the 5.

Mavs have choked twice, and last year wasn't that bad.

The way one prominent Mavs poster on this site described the Spurs prior to that series suggested that last year was indeed THAT bad.

I still think Brewer is terrible, but I would take Azubuike though.

TheRealThing? So if I'm reading right, the Knicks basically swapped Kelenna Azubuike and Corey Brewer for Jared Jeffries. Smells like Isiah Thomas!

My question about 'Buike is whether his surgically repaired knee, at a reported "80%" right now, will be good to go before the end of the regular season.

Azubuike would be solid if his knee works.

PBT seems convinced that no one will pick him up because they don't think he'll be ready to hit the court before the season ends.

Before the entire season ends, or before the regular season ends? He'd be a great fit in the playoffs if he can get a little experience with the 2nd team in. QPon shows flashes but I don't think he's ready for key minutes yet. Buike would be great as we don't really have a true 3 backing up Ariza.

David Aldridge: Boston in mix for Corey Brewer, waived (?) by Knicks, but has company: CHI, MIA, NOH, SA, DAL chasing as well. 3 minutes ago

Cuban would be so pissed if we landed him over the Mavs.

They're meeting him today. If we get him over them, Cuban will become our owner just so he can disband it

So how does this buy out shite actually work? Brewer is now a free agent & can go to the highest bidder? Couldn't Cuban just pay out the arse to get him or does every team have to sign him at same price?
